In MIRTUX we receive daily consultations on the ease or difficulty of changing oneself to certain parts or components of a Roomba. One of the most common queries is related to the change of battery. In this post we will see how easy that is for any user to change your Roomba's battery.
Steps to change a Roomba battery
In the first place, and although it is obvious, we need to have a new battery. At Mirtux we offer our customers the widest range of battery for Roomba, both original and compatible.
Once we have the battery, is the return to the Roomba and release the screws holding the cover. According to our model of Roomba can be 2, 3 or 4 screws. We also recommend remove the screw that fastens the side brush and remove the brush to work more easily, although it is not strictly necessary to do so.
Once removed the lid, the Roomba's battery is in sight as we can see in the following image.
Remove the old battery by pulling up and put the new, by looking at the top has a small bulge to fit to the today in a small cavity that has the hollow of the Roomba. We never so wrong in the sense that we have to replace the battery. You can also see in the image above.
Once we have put new battery back to the cover with the screws and, in case of removing the side brush, return to place it again.
As you can see how easy that is to change a Roomba's battery. Simply locate the screws holding the cover and in 5 minutes we will have our robot ready to clean the entire House.
